History

The Matchett Group was formed in 2002 with the merger of Adkins Matchett & Toy, a leader in financial education for investment bankers, and John Matchett Ltd., an expert in business skills and learning technology. In 2007, 80% of Matchett was acquired by the CLT Group, a major specialist professional training provider in the UK. Matchett and CLT Group are both a part of Wilmington, an established and expanding company providing information and training to professional business markets in the UK and overseas. With Matchett having experienced unprecedented success and growth in the past five years, the acquisition of the majority stake in the organisation by the CLT Group provides it with an excellent opportunity to take the organisation to the next level and dramatically extends its resource base.
