Adults At Risk (Scotland)(Distance Learning)
The Adults at Risk course will provide staff with a greater understanding of the protection of vulnerable adults. This course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to protect adults at risk in your workplace. It is designed to encourage your own personal development in an extremely important area for anyone working with, or providing care to vulnerable groups.
The Adults at Risk programme is aimed to give all staff, supervisors and managers the essential knowledge needed to offer the very best professional approach to the care of vulnerable adults. The programme covers a range of key areas including related policies and procedures, the signs and prevention of harm and neglect, communicating effectively with vulnerable adults and how best to deal with challenging behaviour. The Adults at Risk programme is divided into four core modules. This is designed to be used as reading material to support workshop style delivery or as a flexible learning package, which you can work through at your own pace.
Each module asks you to complete a number of structured questions to ensure that you have the underpinning knowledge required and confirm that learning has taken place. The Activities and Assessments Workbook that is included in your Diabetes Awareness learning pack contains all of these questions, as well as exercises and activities for revision to reinforce your learning.
This course is carried out using detailed blended learning resource pack which can be kept to record a staff members development in the subject. Assessment is through a multiple choice question paper and completion of workbook.
Our best price includes all the course materials, registration, certification and postage.
