Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing

You will work towards the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing. In addition you will need to achieve a Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English if you have not got these before the start of the apprenticeship. The programme involves a study of technical units and related units at a specialist level including in-depth colour selection, colour correction and colour placement. You will be learning to creatively cut hair and develop your skills in long hair techniques. On some options you will have the opportunity to enter competitions, complete a photo shoot, research customer service practices and develop your management style.
