This qualification is made up of the following components:-Level 3 Diploma for Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools. Learners must achieve 44 credits in total from a combination of mandatory and optional unitsQualifications in English, Maths and ICT where there is no prior attainmentEmployee Rights and ResponsibilitiesPersonal Learning and Thinking SkillsThe qualification is suitable for those who have experience of supporting learning within the classroom and are actively involved with assessment of learning and those who have already achieved a Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification at level 2. Employment is required for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

About this course

  • Those progressing from an Advanced Apprenticeship may want to consider a teaching qualification or the university degree route. They may also wish to consider the Level 3 Certificate in Cover Supervision of Pupils in Schools.
