ADVANCED COSMETIC PROCEDURES

Course Content:
 Causes of telangiectasia and lesions on the face and body
 Contraindications to treatments
 Consultation procedures and client handling. Probe and needle selection
 Method, duration and frequency of treatments
 Hygiene, health and safety – special precautions needed
 Pre-treatment, aftercare and sterilisation procedures
 Product, tools and equipment knowledge
 Removal and treatment of indicated conditions
 Salon procedure, marketing, costing and timings

This course is suitable for qualified and experienced Level 4 beauty therapists or medical professionals wishing to extend their knowledge.

A previous qualification (and at least 6 months experience) is required in Epilation or a Medical equivalent.

I.B.S.D Independent Beauty Specialist Diploma. Nationally accredited and recognised for insurance purposes by leading societies such as ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists).

Each class has a maximum of 4 students to ensure you have enough one to one attention with your trainer who is also available for any back up support you may need in the future.

All models are provided for practical work where possible to allow you to spend all of your time focussed on completing your course and covering all requirements successfully.
