Course programme
Look at any magazine, hair shoot or ad campaign and you will see the use of stunning fashion and beauty photography lighting techniques.
This course is designed to teach you how to light and shoot this ever-popular style of shot. The lighting plans this course covers ranges from bright vivid images to dark and moody to cover most flavors of fashion photography lighting.
This is an intense one day course with the emphasis on learning by doing (we don’t just lecture you), so all students are expected to work as a team to help set up lighting. Don’t worry about making mistakes you’ll be under the guidance of our tutor.
Photography Course Overview:

Camera Requirements:
You will need an SLR camera to part take in this course, arrangements can be made to hire cameras if you don’t own one, please ask when booking.
A good understanding of how to use your camera in manual mode is essential for this course, as well as a basic knowledge of exposure. If you need to learn how to use your digital camera please see detail about digital camera training.
Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at advanced amateurs to semi pro photographers, with the emphasis on practical hand’s on training. You must be able to use a light meter (for flash) and know how to set up your camera for studio work. If you are not familiar in these areas we suggest you take the Introductory fashion and portrait lighting course in advance of coming on to this course.
