This course focuses on D-Control functionality and it is not essential that you have taken previous course modules. We do however strongly recommend that you have a thorough understanding and time served experience of Pro Tools HD before undertaking this course.

Pro Tools 310I: Advanced ICON Mixing Techniques focuses on advanced ICON mixing techniques in both music and post-production environments. This course provides comprehensive, hands-on D-Control™ training, and is being offered in several different training options, including expert-level certification.
To attain expert-level ICON Mixer certification, you must complete the 3-day ICON training course and pass the optional hands-on certification exam offered at Digidesign headquarter locations and Digidesign Training Partner schools. All training takes place in our state of the art Cinema Dubbing Theatre.

Certification
Once you have taken this 3-day course you will be eligible to take the ICON "Hands-on" certifcation exam at an addtional cost (see price list). This is a very demanding 1-day on-site (online and practcal) competance test. We recommend that prior to taking this exam you have clocked up a fair ammount of industry hours working on a D-Control.
