Course will cover some theory revision of Anatomy & Physiology, Legislation, Health & Safety, Salon Hygiene, Client consultation, Contra-indications to waxing, Aftercare, practical session of the treatment.

Assessment will be written, verbal and practical.

Course Requirements:
All students will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 Beauty Certificate or a Professional Waxing Certificate and be competent in hot and warm wax.
Model Required
(Students can either work on each other or bring a model)
Students are expected to work on each other or bring a model – please ensure you have a minimum of 3-5mm hair growth for the waxing procedures stated. Students are advised to avoid all heat treatments 24 hours before the course. Products for use during the course are provided on the day. Training manuals will be sent prior to the course and require some home study for a written exam.
Dress code: salon uniform or appropriate clothing that will not interfere with treatment procedures. We also recommend that you make provisions for lunch on the day if required. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

1/2 Day Course, (approx 10 - 2pm) includes course manual.
Fully Accredited Certificate will be issued on completing and passing the course, and earns 16 CPD points.
Max 4 students per class.

Certificate/Insurance
A certificate will be awarded on successful com
pletion of the course. Once you have completed your training we recommend that you obtain public liability insurance. There are several companies that will insure you against our certificates.
