Advanced Motorcycle Training and Rider Assessment courses / workshops are run throughout the year.On offer are advanced courses/ rider workshops based on the Police system of motorcycle control with a retired Grade 1 Advanced Police Motorcycle Instructor. In other words, professional advanced defensive riding, safety awareness, assessment, coaching and training sessions are available. Suitable for: The workshop / course is tailor made to suit your individual requirements and has been designed to identify any strengths or weaknesses you may have in your riding. All one day assessment workshops / courses start at home with you filling out a rider profile. You can identify your strengths and weaknesses. The day is then designed to address your bad habits and also improve on your good riding habits All the information, debriefs etc will be documented and you will receive a training journal

Course programme

This workshop / course was introduced a few years ago and if you fancy a day out to Wales or the Peak District under the guidance of an experienced Police trained advanced instructor, then this course is for you.

The workshop / course is tailor made to suit your individual requirements and has been designed to identify any strengths or weaknesses you may have in your riding. The day usually starts at 10am, or earlier with regular breaks for refreshments and debriefs.

You will receive a course certificate and assessment report on your riding, which may entitle you to a discount on your insurance.

In 2008 the DSA (Driving Strandards Agency) approved Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) will be incorporated into this course. All successful riders will recieve an Enhanced Rider Insurance Certificate ( ERIC), which may entitle them to discounted insurance.

All one day assessment workshops / courses start at home with you filling out a rider profile. You can identify your strengths and weaknesses. The day is then designed to address your bad habits and also improve on your good riding habits. All the information, debriefs etc will be documented and you will receive a training journal at the end of the day.

This workshop/course is designed to develop your riding style under the expert guidance of a qualified assessor in a controlled environment.
