Advanced Nail Technician

This course includes the Manicure & Pedicure course, UV Gel Nail Extension course and Acrylic Nail Extension course.
Day 1 - Manicure & Pedicure
Using massage, exfoliation and intensive mask treatments the condition and appearance of the nails, hands and feet can be transformed. You will learn:

• Nail diagnosis
• Cuticle work
  
• Massage of lower limbs
  
• Shaping nails
  
• Application of French and block enamel
  
• Exfoliation and effective treatment for dry & hard skin areas
• In-depth therapeutic massage of the hand, arm, foot & leg
• Application of paraffin wax, specialist masks and heat treatments
• Enamelling techniques.

Day 2 - UV Gel Nail Extensions
Gel is sometimes called a 'pre-mixed' system as it does not need another product or chemical for it to work. What is does need however, is an ultraviolet light to make it cure or set. This course will teach you professional nail preparation and tip application/blending techniques, application of gel, maintenance procedure and removal of nail extensions.
Day 3 - Acrylic Nail Extensions
This system is the most popular in the UK, holding about 50% of the nail market. A two component system using liquid and powder - probably the strongest and most versatile of all nail enhancements. During this course you will re-cap on tip application/blending then move on to the application of acrylic and maintenance procedure. Also covered:
