How will I study?
If you are a full time student aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme which will consist of your main course, enterprise and enrichment activities, English and maths, as well as work experience. This course consists of 6 modules covering the following subjects: tractor operations and maintenance; livestock health and welfare; dairy and sheep husbandry; crop husbandry; construction and estate skills and work related experience within the land based sector. If you have a GCSE grade D in either English or maths you may be given the opportunity to undertake a resit (after sitting an initial assessment), otherwise you will be studying functional skills in these subjects.

You will be taught by our lively and enthusiastic agriculture teaching team at the college farm. The farm has three classrooms which are based on the farm itself, one of which is a ITC suite.
