Course structure- Introduction to Grasshopper’s interface and components
- How to manage data in Grasshopper
- Linking external parameters (site conditions, local specificities) to the digital model
- Design with environmental parameters (sun, views)
- Displaying information on the model and exporting fabrication drawings
- Quick introduction to some Grasshopper’s plugins
- Exercise 01: design of a small object [lamp] using 2D components and production of fabrication drawings
- Exercise 02: design of medium sized object [bench] based on waffle structure systems
- Exercise 03: design of a medium sized object [pavilion] using 3D components
- Exercise 04: design and control of building facades/skins
- Exercise 05: control of environmental data and implementation in design process
