* Be a member of the Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme.

Course programme

Course Description

The course (minimum one day) contains practical sessions, supplemented with an evening presentation and discussion. This course may be combined with an additional personal performance day.

Revalidation

The Alpine Ski Leader qualification is valid for 3 years. To revalidate you must:

  • Attend the refresher course every three years.
  • Possess a valid first aid certificate (renewed every three years).
  • Be a member of the Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme (or that of Snowsport England, Snowsport Wales or Northern Ireland Ski Council).

Courses will be re-scheduled if snow or weather conditions disallow their running on proposed dates.
