AMASE - Joint European Master Programme on Advanced Materials Science and Engineering
-
When I have been accepted to start the AMASE-master in Barcelona, I thought in the opportunity to travel in Europe, to meet people of different cultures and to learn other languages. But, even if it is happened, even if my entire Erasmus Mundus story is culturally rich, I have never thought in the friendship that I would enjoy and that is my best milestone from AMASE. This experience has encouraged me to always search a synergy with others, not only professionally but personally also.
Today, I am living in Nancy, France; doing my PhD in solid-mechanics at the University of Strasbourg and; working on a project with the Public Research Centre Henri Tudor in Luxembourg. In this way, I keep the European way-of-life developed during the AMASE experience, working on materials science. In my professional experience the scientific skills learnt during the AMASE-master are kindly important on my actual work.
Finally, the values developed in my Erasmus-Mundus activity have shown to me the importance of partnership, perseverance and passion for science. These values with a bit of discipline are, for me, the main needs to do a successful high-quality
