Course programme

Course review:

The driving course is usually held at our Huddersfield office.

The course is run once a month and is a 3 week course.

There are two modules to the course. D1 runs for 5 days and introduces the driver to the practical systematic driving framework, the Highway code, road traffic law and Ambulance driving manual. D2 runs for 10 days and covers advanced driving techniques in non-emergency and emergency situations.

Both modules of the course include practical and written examinations that must be passed in order to complete the course successfully.

The minimum age required to take this course is 18. You will also need to have been driving for at least a year.

The qualification you will gain if you pass the course successfully will be a BTEC level 3 award.
