Business Economics BSc (Hons)

Ledan Sant John

What I would highlight: My business course actually deals with my own company. When I finish this university studies for their next 3 years, I want to expand my company to an international company. Anglia Ruskin University has actually been one of the top universities for business studies in the last 5 to 6 years and they have a very good reputation for business students. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to select Anglia Ruskin University from the top universities for my studies Cambridge is one of the best places to live, it is very diverse and noisy, nice architecture, the best of all. It is a very amazing place to study; the environment is really nice, great lecturers, good support team, and good facilities; so I think Anglia Ruskin would be a top choice for any students across the world who want to come and study. It is the best place to be.
What could be improved: Nothing negative.

What I would highlight: I think what makes this university and this course in particular brilliant is that I can have the opportunity to pursue everything I want to do, such as writing or learning new languages. I don’t feel stuck in doing one thing. Becoming a student representative has given me so many more opportunities and it is not as intimidating as I thought to be. If I look back on my time here, I feel a sense of belonging that I have never felt before. It is just having friends who understand you and think like you. I have never had this before. There is a lot of diversity, which I really enjoy, people who are as passionate as you are. The professors are brilliant and funny and you will love them because we love them. It is such a great sense of community. We have a small class; you won't ever feel shut out. There will always be someone there to help you. It is an exceptional course and I am just proud that I have ended up doing it because it’s a thing I wake up to everyday.

What I would highlight: I learnt more about Marketing and I think I developed my knowledge with this course. With practice, exercises, presentations, designing posters, teamwork... all this kind of skills that are really important when you are going to work outside. I've been in Cambridge 5 years and it has improved a lot. Universities work hard for students; it makes me proud to study here. It is a cosy city with nice streets and it is full of students from everywhere. There are many places to relax and make a barbecue. Come and join Anglia Ruskin!

What I would highlight: I do really enjoy uni, but I think personally it is what you make of it yourself. There is no one keeping an eye on you like at home with your parents - so you have to make sure you attend class. Bascially you are responsible for your own future & destiny

What I would highlight: My expectation for my course have been different to my experience. I sometimes feel that we are left to do too much work as home study, where I would prefer more classroom time. I have spoken to tutors for extra help and they are always willing to put time aside when they can.

What I would highlight: I am enjoying studying here. It has taken me a little while to adjust to uni life as moving away from home has been a bit stressful. I have made lots of good friends though and I am looking forward to moving into a shared house with 3 of them instead of the halls that I am in at the moment

What I would highlight: Acommodation and city life are far too exoensive it costs crazy ammounts to rent rooms in a student houses close to the city here. I do not think that the univesity facilities on the whole are that good and teh students union really does need improving. Other universities get really good acts we do not.

Hania

22/07/2016
What I would highlight: The course is not what I expected. We were made to believe it would be more practical and intense drama. The Shakespeare course was advised to have an element of practice to help the students, but there was none! The uni as a whole does not have a community atmosphere. There are not enough parties at all! Also book funding should not be more than £100.
