About this Course
The Animal Care Level 2 Diploma will develop the knowledge and skills you need to pursue a career with animals; from becoming a kennel worker or grooming dogs, to caring for exotic animals.
While studying, you will work with animals with different dietary and health needs, from farm livestock to domestic pets, insects and exotics, to give you a wide range of knowledge and experience.

What are the entry requirements?
- Four GCSEs one at C and three at grade D or above including English, maths and science or a Level 1 in Land-based Studies
- Must be flexible to work outdoors in all weather
- You must also be committed to working with animals and have a keen interest in animals and their care
- Working at Level 1 English and maths
- Positive references and interviews
