In this short practical workshop you will explore the popular animation technique of overlaying charcoal drawing made famous by the animator William Kentridge. The technique produces surprising experimental results as layers of images build leaving the traces of earlier drawing and erasing. Using this technique you will learn to animate your drawings as they develop using stop motion to create surprising and exciting animated sequences.
