Course Description
These courses provide a broad understanding of Biology and Chemistry together with a large element of Laboratory training. Preferred Entry Requirements
At least 1 Higher (grade D or above) in an appropriate Science subject (eg Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science or Maths) plus 2 Standard Grades or 2 Intermediate 2 awards in Science subjects OR appropriate range of SQA NC modules or NQ units. Entry by informal interview.

Course Duration: 2 academic years

Course Content
Animal, Plant and Human Biology Chemistry Laboratory Skills (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Mathematics Computer Applications Communication Physics and Additional Chemistry.

Career Progression to senior technican posts. First year BSc at most Scottish Universities.
