Appointed persons (FAW)

This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks, where a nominated or appointed person is required to take charge in the event of an illness or accident. On this one day course you will learn basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations. The course includes Health and safety (first aid) regulations, Managing an incident, The priorities of first aid, Treatment of an unconscious casualty, Resuscitation, Shock, Bleeding, Common workplace injuries. You will be assesed throughout the day and given pointers and tips.
