Apprenticeship in Process Technology Level 2

Unit topics include:

• Fundamentals of process science
• Calculations in process industries
• Health, safety and environmental issues in process industries
• Fundamentals of Communications and information technology in process industries
• Fundamentals of process chemistry
• Process plant and process plant services in process industries
• Processing solids in process industries
• Processing fluids in process industries
• Instrumentation, measurement and control in process industries

Entry Requirements

An apprentice should be employed in a role where they can be assessed in the workplace and should be able to provide evidence from the job role for assessment against the qualification criteria.

Candidates must have GCSE Grade C or above.  Candidates with less than C grades in Maths and English will need to work towards Functional Skills Level 2 as part of the apprenticeship.
