About this course

Graduates have been very successful in gaining subsequent employment. There is a growing demand for our graduates from a wide range of both public and private employers. While the main source of employment remains local government and central government planning and planning-related consultancy, graduates are also employed in the housing and transport sectors; planning, urban regeneration and environmental agencies; utility companies and teaching and research.

Normally a minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, or a degree of lower classification in a subject appropriate to the programme, plus extensive professional experience in the field at a senior level. Candidates will be asked to submit a portfolio of their design work once their completed application has been received, and should not send or upload work until it has been requested.
