Established in 1991, Argyll Training is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. The company prides itself on providing innovative employment and learning opportunities for individuals and organisations to reach their full potential. Much of this is achieved through working with partner organisations. This collaborative approach has proved effective particularly in rural areas, allowing clients to access a wide range of training opportunities and support through a single point of access.Argyll Training has contracts in place to deliver a range of government funded programmes including Get Ready for Work, Skillseekers, Modern Apprenticeships, Training for Work and New Deal. Specific short courses and qualifications are also offered, many of these are approved by Learndirect Scotland allowing clients to fund their training using Individual Learning Accounts.
