Course programme
Using new technologies students can experience traditional arts in innovative ways. Photography is a medium through which artist’s may create art. ICT is a medium or tool through which an artist can express his/her vision of line, form, colour, composition and rhythm.
Our Digital Art experience can fall into three basic categories:
Digital Painting, Digital Photography & Digital Story Telling. There are several subcategories and, of course, teachers can combine any and all to create their own unique course through consultation with CLC staff.
Using the latest software and digital technology students are able to create a variety of different documents, for example an
advertising campaign: either two full page magazine adverts or a billboard design using original photography and graphics. For this event students will be required to carry out prior market research in preparation and have knowledge of advertising techniques. Students will use Photoshop to create a TV commercial using our TV Studio for a product launch.
