The Art of Hebrew Calligraphy

Learn and develop skills in Hebrew Calligraphy and Illumination, working with ink, paint and gold leaf on personal projects. Inspiration can be drwan from old manuscripts and contemporary sources from a range of poems and texts. Midrash and legends related to Hebrew letters are introduced. Knowledge of Hebrew and previous art/calligraphy experience are not essential. Beginners as well as advanced students are welcome. Progress at your own rate in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Vetta is an artist and calligrapher specialising in Hebrew Calligraphy and painted Illumination. She has exhibited widely including at the British Library, The Museum of London and The Jewish Museum.
