Course programme
This programme offers students two one-hour tutorials per term to discuss their work in depth. The programme intends to build an overview of the student's aims and their development and will complement the studio teaching that they receive. In the autumn term The Tutorial Scheme will include a group gallery visit, in the spring term there will be a group seminar and at the end of the summer term there will be an opportunity to show your work in the Heatherley's exhibition. There is no formal assessment but the exhibition acts as a focus for the self-assessment and personal review that the programme seeks to promote.
Application is by portfolio.
Termly enrolment is possible. Fees are payable in advance for all courses and each course is devised for a limited number of students, so early enrolment is advisable. Students wishing to transfer from one course to another will be subject to a transfer fee. Fees are non-refundable. Please note: Heatherley School of Fine Art reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule courses, or adjust fees, or substitute lecturers as necessary.
Materials and School Shop
Easels, boards, printing inks and some sculpture materials are provided but students are expected to supply any additional materials needed. The School Shop stocks a range of art materials at reasonable prices.
