Artistic gymnastics course

Artistic gymnastics is one of the four Olympic disciplines belonging to the macro-area of ​​gymnastics and is divided into the male and female section. Male artistic gymnastics includes six different specialties, that is six different tools on which the gymnast can perform his exercises: the free body, the vaulting, the symmetrical parallels, the horse, the rings and the bar. Female artistic gymnastics includes four different specialties, or four different tools on which the gymnast can perform her exercises: the free body, the vaulting, the asymmetrical parallels and the beam. The athlete of this discipline, the gymnast, undergoes more or less intense training, compared to the technical level to which she belongs. The training serves to assimilate and acquire the numerous gymnastic elements, for which it is necessary to develop different characteristics: coordination, joint mobility, strength, speed, rhythm, agility, dynamism.
