About this course
In order to qualify for this course students must; *Have passed 5 GCSE's at grade C or above including ICT, English and Maths, ideally with at least two at grade B or higher. *Applicants coming from Secondary Education must provide evidence of sound attendance and good Records of Achievement and an interest in IT.

What will I study?

How can I progress?
On successful completion of the AS ICT course students can progress onto the A2 ICT Level (2nd year) of the course possibly leading to Higher Education.
What will I need to qualify for this course?

Course Structure
Whilst studying towards this qualification the following modules will be covered; *Practical Problem Solving in the Digital World Topic list; -Practical use of ICT, identifying, designing, producing, testing, documenting and evaluating solutions -Data entry, storage, output of information, use of software, current health and safety legislation. *Living in the Digital World Topic list; -ICT systems, their components, uses, users, safety and security -Data and information, data transfer, backup and recovery.
