We offer all students the opportunity to attend courtroom hearings at both the local Magistrates and Crown Courts. Other trips have included visits to London to go to the Old Bailey, Parliament and the High Court. There are also visits to Manchester to help train new Greater Manchester Police officers by way of role plays. Our students have also been to America to visit the United Nations and the White House among many other sites of significance. Wherever available, we also offer sessions being held by various universities and welcome former students who have gone on to study Law at degree level.
Progression
AS/A Level Law is very useful for those students interested in studying the subject at university as it provides an insight into some of the topics covered on a degree course. It is also an excellent choice for those students who wish to pursue other careers options including business, management, police, civil service, social work, etc.
