2. Course description The environment concern us all: sustainability, conservation, energy supplies, pollution, deforestation. This course studies a range of issues of environmental importance in a scientific manner. We study the impact of human activity on the environment and explore ways in which we can create a sustainable future. At the end of the course you should be able to use a scientific approach to study the environment, the impacts on our environment, understand ways humans manage the environment, and know about issues that are important to us today.
