General Studies is studied in one lesson a week at both AS and A2 level.
Resources and Facilities
We can offer excellent facilities and a dedicated, well-informed team of staff from a range of disciplines. The Learning Resources Centre is well stocked with up-to-date material needed for the course.
Teaching and Learning Styles
There will be a mixture of formal teaching and student-led learning. You will be encouraged to participate in lessons, both in discussions and presentations. You will have specialist teachers for the different sections of the course who will use appropriate techniques to ensure that you understand the topics covered and enjoy the learning experience.
Assessment
There are two modules for AS and two at A2 under the broad headings of Space, Conflict, Power and Change.
