Assessment
Four units to be taken, two at AS level and two at A2, in reading, listening, speaking and writing skills.
At A2 there is a research-based essay.


Progression Opportunities
An increasing number of students go on to study a degree including Italian as a major or minor component. Fluency in the language increases the opportunities of work abroad, and the ability to appreciate the rich culture of Italy through its music, art and cuisine.

Extra-curricular Activities

There is an exchange with a school in Italy, open to everyone studying Italian.
