A comprehensive introduction to becoming more assertive and effective in your work life. An assertive approach can pay dividends at work, helping to create better relationships with colleagues, communicate more effectively, and achieve your work goals. The activities and assignments throughout the course will help you to develop the confidence and skills you need to make a positive, lasting impression in the workplace.
The course fee includes course book, The Assertiveness Workbook, plus all study materials and full tutorial support with an experienced tutor.

Study topics include: effective communication; confidence and assertiveness; self-limiting beliefs and negative self-talk cycles; congruence and rapport; work and assertiveness; body image; dealing with anger; how to say 'no' and mean it.
On successful completion of the course students are awarded a Learning Curve certificate. Learning Curve is accredited as a training provider by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council.
