Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement CAVA course is suitable for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge, understanding and in the work environment (e.g. a workshop, classroom or other training environment). You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to plan assessments, select the best assessment methods for the situation, carry out the assessments and after making the assessment decision, give feedback to the learner, make a firm contribution to quality assurance and keep and complete accurate assessment records. This NVQ Assessor's course is designed for individuals who need to assess competence within the workplace or classroom.

This TAQA qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This level 3 certificate is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Early years, NHS, Child and Health Care, Oil and Gas Field, Apprenticeship, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in colleges and schools.

There are no formal requirements for this course, however, candidates should be working in, or working towards a role in quality assurance.

Course Outline:
Each unit aims to give candidates the skills and knowledge to guide others through their learning process with constructive and accurate feedback. Your learning package includes:
Unit 301 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
Unit 302 – Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
Unit 303 – Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

Online / Distance Learning Course:
A great option for anyone wishing to get qualified using our self study method with the option to study from anywhere at anytime with our tutor support. You will be given full access to the Online Portal upon booking the course.

Classroom Course:
2 Day in the class and 4 months to complete the coursework. We have various locations all over the country. During this time one of our qualified tutor will give you support if you need any.

Duration:
You will be given 4 months to complete the coursework. However if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard, you do not need to wait for 16 weeks.
