Whether you are as seasoned actor or just starting out, your audition material is your single most important asset once you are in front of a casting panel, or a drama school panel. Here you will learn how an audition panel sees you, and you will work on your audition repertoire building a solid base of classical and contemporary audition pieces. We will work on a range of audition material (both prepared and unprepared), primarily for the stage. You will be required to learn new audition material as we progress through this course, so please be aware that you will need to conduct some work from home (this will be valuable time spent).

About this course

• Locate where to find casting notices if you do not have representation

• Confidently approach to sight reading.
Comfortable clothing should be worn. You will need to source and bring a copy of a contemporary and/or a classical monologue with you to the class. Help and guidance will be provided that will give you an indication of how to select and locate appropriate material as part of the course. However, it is important that you bring anything you have with you that you are currently working on or wish to develop and improve during the sessions.
