Young Holiday Classes

What I would highlight: We had a wonderful time and everything was brilliant. The Birthday girl enjoyed it too and was very surprised! We have been looking at the recipes again today, the pesto was a favourite. We are already planning our next visit to you… Thank you for organizing for us and Diana and Richard were both great too.
What could be improved: Nothing.

What I would highlight: Before that course I was only able to toast bread... Now I have prepared several three course meals and have impressed my family! It was really fun, the teachers are great at communication and the recipes were easy to follow, but delicious. I highly suggest this course to anyone who is thinking about it.
What could be improved: Nothing.

What I would highlight: Thank you, thank you! The evening I spent there with your young students and their families was lovely. It as a wonderful course, very interesting and enjoyable. Elliot really loved it. I can say now that cooking is his passion. He even makes bread every morning!! I think he will go back for more courses.

What I would highlight: Diana and Richard, thank you very much for your hospitality during this week. I had a whale of a time and now can't stop cooking. While writing this, chesse soufflés are in the oven. My mum got obsessed with the cook book yoo.

Basic To Brilliant Cooking Course

What I would highlight: My 22 year-old son attended this course during his gap year. It really helped him to have a good start with cooking and now he is trying to further develop his interests. Two days ago he prepared an 8 course tasting menu for 14 people!

What I would highlight: My son Ludo loved this course!! The boys have really enjoyed their time with the Avenue and they have also improved their cooking skills! My third son is eager to attend this courses once he turns 18.

International Cooking Classes

What I would highlight: Last night I really enjoyed the Indian cooking course. It was informative (learned about knife skills, how to chop certain vegetables...) and very social! We were such a small amount of people that we could all learn how to make naan bread. We also blended herbs and spices and learned how to work with some ingredients. The result was amazing: a fabulous meal! The School really helped me find my hidden interest for cooking once more. It was really fun! Because of that, I have already booked other evening classes, which I am really excited to do. I also recommended it to friends, because I know they will have as much fun as I did. Diana, Richard and Martin have put a lot of time and love into cooking, which you can easily see!
What could be improved: Impossible to improve. Just perfect.

Chalet Host Cooking Course

What I would highlight: The Avenue made sure I spent a far more entertaining, educational and tasty two-week course than I thought. the Horsford family were great to me and Richard, the teacher, was brilliant. He really possesses a talent for trying out crazy ideas and always successfully pulling them off. Once I finished this course, I flew to La Plagne in France and started working as chalet host for Skiworld. When I first started here, I realised how important were those skills I gained from the course, specially my cakes! Thank you very much to the whole Avenue team!
What could be improved: Nothing! It could not be better.

What I would highlight: Last year I did a Crème Brulée course and I loved it! That's why this year I got into the Bountiful Britishi evening. Not only did I learn new culinary tricks, it was also a great way of finishing my week. Richard and Diana are amazing people! I look forward to my next course with them!

What I would highlight: This was a great course. This summer has been very busy for me. I turned 18, became an adult, went to uni and on holidays! Although my summer was full of events, this one-week course was one of the best during this summer. I will always remember it with a big smile. I really hope to do more courses of yours in the near future.

What I would highlight: I prepared Lasagne yesterday for supper. It was first class and it was perfectly prepared. I love cooking and I was able to slice an onion correctly on my own! Thank you very much for this course!

What I would highlight: My son Seb really enjoyed your one-week course. So thank you for all the fun and tuition! We realised how he is more confident now. On Saturday he cooked poached eggs for breakfast and they were perfect. I have marked some recipes from the cook book because I want him to prepare them. I hope I can book another week for his younger brother next summer!

What I would highlight: I did the French Cooking Class. It was fabulous and fun. The chef taught us a few extra things and I wrote them down. In addition to that, she helped me cut an onion properly. Today I prepared plum Tarte Tatin because I have friends coming tomorrow.
