This course is aimed at 19+ adults who already hold a full level 2 qualification. You will need a genuine interest in aviation operations and/or an interest in travel and tourism in order to get the most from your course.

Course programme

Year 1

You will study three mandatory units: Health and Safety within aviation, aviation security and aviation communications, as well as a range of optional units which could include areas such as airport check-in services, aircraft boarding, arrival and aircraft dispatch processes and customer service. You will also gain an understanding of industry terms.

Additional information

You will be assessed by a variety of methods including written coursework, role plays, groups discussions, displays and presentations.
