Course programme
The DfT (TRANSEC) training programme has been designed to ensure that specific classes of personnel engaged in aviation related employment receive a standardised level of preventative aviation security training appropriate to their level of involvement in the aviation industry.
Levels A&B General Awareness & Collection Drivers
(Formally known as Avsec Level 4)
These (level A & B) elements of the training programme will provide an understanding of security requirements for drivers ( level B ), warehouse staff and telephone call handlers ( level A ), involved in dealing with air cargo.
The DfT TRANSEC air cargo security training programme sets as its aims;
* The training of air cargo security staff in the relevant skills to allow them to carry out their duties effectively.
* That those who handle air cargo and those with specific responsibilities, know how to exercise them, and, understand the TRANSEC requirements.
This training course is DfT (Department for Transport) approved and concludes with a short test. Successful candidates will receive an approval certificate.
In accordance with the regulations CDS Training will maintain training records.
