Course review:
Ayurveda is an India’s traditional and natural system of medicine - thought to have originated from Lord Brahma, the Hindu God; translated, the word Ayurveda, literally means the “Knowledge or Science of Life”
Ayurveda emphasizes prevention of disease, rejuvenation of our body systems, and extension of life span. The profound premise and promise of Ayurveda is that ‘through certain practices, not only can we prevent heart disease and make our headaches go away, but we can also better understand ourselves and the world around us, live a long healthy life in balance and harmony, achieve our fullest potential, and express our true inner nature on a daily basis’.
Today Ayurveda, as with other forms of proven traditional complementary medicine, is gaining a fast and strong foothold in our lives where it has proven to effectively strike a fine balance between one's physical health and spiritual well-being.
The School of Natural Therapies and SNT tutor Sumita Singh, are honoured to welcome from Kerala, India – Ayurvedic doctor and expert - Dr. Anand P Nair and his colleague Prasad Ninan’
As experts in their field, they are coming to the UK for a short time only, to promote this amazing 5 day course, providing students with practical hands on and theoretical knowledge in many aspects of Ayurveda.
Together, they will share and enlighten you into the increasingly popular and respected world of Ayurvedic healing, complete with holistic remedies and treatments used in this field.
