Course Content
  • Year 1

    In Year 1 you will study the core units from both your Combined Honours subjects. You will develop a firm foundation in the basic elements of finance and its significance to the effective operation of business management. Elective strands with finance specialisms are available.

  • Year 2

    In Year 2 you will study units in which you will learn to generate, communicate and evaluate financial data. You will also be introduced to major accounting concepts and gain a broader knowledge of financial accounting procedures alongside learning about logistics and supply chain management. This can be studied on an equal or minor combination.

  • Year 3

    In Year 3 the core units will build your critical awareness and analysis of real life situations and include strategic considerations and corporate financial management. You will be encouraged to look at business finance in a strategic way, using quantitative and diagnostic techniques to develop appropriate strategies to enhance business performance and financial control. This can be studied on an equal or minor combination.
