Course programme
Studying Creative Arts at Aberystwyth University will enable you to engage in creative practice that is flexible and adaptable to your own interests. Our degree interrogates and challenges conventional boundaries by allowing you to combine subjects and disciplines across three key strands of study: Art & Design, Language & Writing and Performance & Production. Our students can combine fine art with creative writing, photography with film production, performance with scenography the potential pathways you can create are almost limitless. You might choose to study subjects that seemingly have little in common (Ceramics & Advertising) or subjects that are explicitly complementary (Digital Journalism & Photography). Our aim is to encourage innovation and to equip you with the skills to identify and generate connections that emerge from your own critical practice and your scholarly engagement with your chosen fields of study.
