You'll study theories of representation and film reception, developments in film and video in contemporary media culture. You'll thrive on dedicated subjects including high definition cinematography, digital editing and advanced post-production, whilst learning how to write and pitch your own screenplays and film treatments. This grounding will enable you to take full advantage of second-year fiction and documentary short filmmaking modules designed to culminate in fully resolved and professional films capable of meeting industry demands.
