Course Content Year 1

In the first year of your degree you study chemical engineering practice with safety; fundamentals of chemical engineering; mathematics; technical communication; chemistry for engineering; and transport processes.

Year 2

Year 2 covers materials; computer-aided problem solving; fluid mechanics; dynamics and statics of process equipment; process dynamics, control and instrumentation; separation processes and particle technology; and process simulation.

Final BEng Year

You specialise in areas including process design methods; energy processes; chemical reaction engineering; bio processes; industrial chemistry; heat integration; sustainability; and process engineering management. You also undertake a design project and a process design project.
