The BEng (Hons) Telecommunications Engineering develops a detailed understanding of the convergence of electronic systems and telecommunications - local area networks, the internet, mobile phone systems, and optical and wireless communications. This is a technical telecommunications engineering course. You'll benefit from an established academic team that maintains a strong research output and extensive research links with industry through consultancy works and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs). The course has significant laboratory-based practical teaching to support lecture material. The course is accredited by the IET, so is closely aligned with the needs of industry.
