BA History and Politics allows students to explore the relationships between contemporary politics and the historical development of the modern world. This inter-disciplinary programme has been designed with flexibility and choice at its heart.

You might want to specialise in a particular country or region, exploring how politics relates to an historical period or a particular nation. For example, you might wish to combine study of the history of Nazism with contemporary Germany or Russian Politics with the history of Stalinism or British history with international relations.
