Integrated Practice : The breadth of application of creative music production within the professional and contemporary culture, exploring extra-musical stimuli to create an integrated creative musical production piece of your choice. New media technologies in practice will be explored, with opportunities to fuse music and media together in creative and innovative ways... Audio Cultures : During semester 1, the module introduces you to a range of critical theories connected with the study of music as well as training in research methodologies. . Dissertation : This is a chance for you to interrogate something that interests you about music or audio production. If you are unsure about what that might be you are guided by support workshops to help structure a proposal for study. You will be able to delve deep in to a subject area of your choice and will be supported by a supervisor who will help you maintain your path to the end goal of the study. . Individual Project : This enables you to focus your research further by undertaking a substantial audio project of your choice. Creative outputs could include but are not limited to concept driven albums, audio-visual projects, installation work, generative and interactive audio. You will work throughout the year on a project that you are interested in and you are supported in the development of a research proposal as well as by technical workshops and visiting lecturers.
