Marketing is an exciting, dynamic and multi-focused discipline. This course will provide you with a broad perspective, covering subjects such as principles of marketing, strategic planning, consumer behaviour, enterprise, brand and media communications and market research. It will prepare you to work successfully in the sector whether you wish to set up your own business or join a small or a large enterprise. During this degree, you’ll have the opportunity to study for a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), significantly enhancing your career prospects. The course is professionally accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and gives you chances to study professional qualifications.You will get to work on live industry projects using real data and working with businesses and charities across the UK.The course gives you the opportunities to do a work placement in SMEs or large corporations, developing key employability skillsAll students have the option to study abroad and learn or develop language skills to give you an edge in the job market.You will develop key marketing and communications skills at a leading international business facing University.


Graduates have found employment in fields such as marketing, sales, advertising, marketing agencies, market research, merchandising and B2B marketing. Our graduates can leave with key employability, enterprise and strong interpersonal skills. The average salary six months after graduating is £20,000 rising to an average of £26,000 after 40 months. 92% of BA(Hons) Marketing graduates are in work or full time study after 6 months.

What I would highlight: I love being a part of Hertfordshire university, although Hatfield city is a disappointment. The university is just fantastic to be and has great accomodations. Facilities can be improved a lot.

What I would highlight: Wifi is not good, it breaks a lot and at time during holidays it's off. And, you cannot eve connect with your family members. I would recommend the same. Thanks for everything.

Work Placement

As with all courses at Hertfordshire Business School, you can undertake a paid work placement in a UK or International business. During this time you will be employed by a business and will be subsequently paid.
