Course detail
During your first year at Level 4 you will:
be introduced to the functional areas of business and management which support the tourism industry
seek to develop a detailed knowledge of the tourism industry and it component sectors.
In your second year at Level 5 you will:
develop your knowledge of business and management principles
develop specialised knowledge relating to specific areas of the tourism industry.
Placement year
Normally, placements are paid
placements can be undertaken anywhere in the world (student visa status permitting)
can be secured in all areas of the tourism industry.
It is normal for students to start preparing for the placement in year one of the programme in the Employability module.
In your final year at Level 6 you will:
