This honours degree programme is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in journalism, whether in hard news or comment, and who value good writing, skilled broadcasting and top-class analytical skills. You will benefit from a practical, hands-on major in Journalism, aimed at developing first-class production skills in online, print and broadcast media with a minor in International Relations that emphasises the analysis of political theory, practical politics and a study of modern history. Developing your skill to explain the complex with clarity, the programme will familiarise you with a broad range of essential and advanced journalistic principles, writing/production techniques, and with life in the workplace, whether it be in independent media or in government or NGO communications.Modules available on this course
