  • Good experience and there were lots of societies involved and it was a great experience and I had fun. Thanks for everything, I had a nice time in all. The course was good and I enjoyed a lot.

  • I got all the information I needed since they’re very friendly. The students are from many different countries so that’s amazing. Recently, I received a package full of free stuff to get me in the mood for university. It has a nice gesture I don’t see any other universities do. Can’t wait to start in September!

This honours degree programme is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in journalism (perhaps specifically in reviewing and criticism) and to study a foreign language. You will benefit from a practical, hands-on major in Journalism, aimed at developing first-class production skills in online, print and broadcast media with a minor in Spanish. Drawing on the many natural synergies between journalism, language and media production across different platforms, the programme will familiarise you with a broad range of essential and advanced journalistic principles, writing / production techniques, and with life in the workplace.Spanish is available to study at all levels – from beginners (September entry only) to advanced. You don’t need to worry about choosing which “stage” you are at when you opt to study a language – we will assess your level of language and place you into a group which is suitable for your abilities. As you learn more and more, you’ll move up through the stages.
